Finney Crockett groundbreaking

Detroit Public Schools Emergency Financial Manager Robert Bobb on Thursday, October 28, will sign the final contract in the district’s $500.5 million capital improvement program, less than one year after voters approved the bond issue last November. The district will also announce details for the new $46.3 million Finney Crockett High School.
More than 200 sophomore students from Finney and Crockett high schools will cap off the event. The sophomore class will be the first class to graduate in the new facility in the spring of 2013.
